Be mine

Here I am brimming with adoration.
Hoping the big fat orange cat will notice me and chase me.
Chase me around the apartment.
I think I’ll get his attention by pretending
an interest in this scrap of paper.
Next I’ll do my “run like a banshee”
charge through the hall.
That always gets a good reaction.
